What expect from iPhone 8? Specs, price, etc || Everything about iPhone 8*

Hello friends, welcome to NextisEasy... today we are going to tell you about iPhone 8*....

So, Lets start...

*NOTE: This is only prediction. We are not confirm you that all the things are correct.

iPhone 8

Everyone knows about the iPhone but very few people know about the history of this device. When did the first generation of the iPhones see the world? What were the expectations of its inventors? Why has the iPhone become the most popular smartphone in the world? The iPhone is a smartphone produced by Apple Inc. The iPhone is the most popular product of Apple Inc. It provides this corporation with the biggest profit. No wonder, they try to improve every new generation of the iPhone intensively in order to attract new clients and improve customer loyalty. This device is supposed to shape the industry of smartphones nowadays. Although numerous rivals of Apple Inc. try to copy the design and functions of the iPhone, this device is still the leader on the market of smartphones.

EXPECTED FEATURES

Firstly, lets talk about expected features...

  • OLED display
  • Faster A11 processor
  • Glass body
  • Edge-to-edge display
  • Camera and Touch ID integrated in display
  • No Home button
  • Wireless charging
  • Three models - One OLED, two standard

NAMING

Following Apple's standard naming scheme, with a numeric increase during even years to mark external design changes and an "S" increase during odd years to denote internal feature updates only, the 2017 iPhone would be called the "iPhone 7s."

Given the major changes Apple plans to introduce to the iPhone in 2017, it seems unlikely the device will receive an "S" name, so there's a good chance Apple may decide to skip directly to the next full number, naming the 2017 iPhone the iPhone 8.

  • 2007 - iPhone
  • 2008 - iPhone 3G
  • 2009 - iPhone 3GS
  • 2010 - iPhone 4 (new design)
  • 2011 - iPhone 4s
  • 2012 - iPhone 5 (new design)
  • 2013 - iPhone 5s
  • 2014 - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus (new design)
  • 2015 - iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
  • 2016 - iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
  • 2017 - iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
iPhone 8 is a tentative name for the device -- it has not yet been confirmed by Apple -- but it seems to be the most logical choice for a major update. There's always the possibility Apple will call it something else or make 2017 the year it moves away from a numbered iPhone naming scheme. Apple is also rumored to be planning to produce a total of three iPhone models in 2017, so the naming could change

DISPLAY

At least one iPhone 8 model is expected to include a flexible OLED display and Apple has already signed a deal with at least one manufacturer, Samsung, to produce OLED displays for devices set to debut in 2017.

Samsung will provide Apple with an estimated 40 million AMOLED panels in 2017, and will be Apple's sole supplier in 2017. OLED displays from companies like AU Optronics, Japan Display, and Sharp won't be ready until 2018, so Apple will need to rely heavily on Samsung in 2017.

Some rumors have suggested OLED display production could be constrained due to yield issues, which could affect available supply at launch and could even impact Apple's decision to use OLED panels.

Apple may also be investing in AMOLED supplier AU Optronics and it has a secret lab in Taiwan where it is exploring advanced display options like OLED and Micro-LED. Apple's suppliers are also gearing up to produce OLED displays, investing in new equipment and technology.

An OLED display eliminates the need for the backlighting that's used in traditional LCDs, which would allow Apple to cut down on the thickness and weight of the display used in the device. OLED displays can also be flexible, perhaps allowing Apple to create a device with a more curved or wraparound display.

OLED displays also offer better contrast ratio, truer colors, improved viewing angles, better power efficiency to maximize battery life, and a faster response time than an LCD for faster refresh rates. On the downside, OLED displays don't have the lifespan of an LCD display and they're more prone to water damage, two issues Apple will need to overcome. Apple already uses OLED displays in the Apple Watch.

WIRELESS CHARGING

Apple is working on long-range wireless charging technology that rumors suggest could be implemented in iPhones as soon as 2017, making it an ideal addition to the iPhone 8. Long-range wireless charging is superior to many existing wireless charging methods because it does not require devices to be as close to a charging source or mat.

There are some obstacles to overcome before such technology can be implemented, such as the loss of power transfer efficiency that occurs when the distance between the transmitter and the receiver is increased. This causes batteries further away from a charging source to charge more slowly.

Apple has been hiring engineers with expertise in wireless charging in recent months, suggesting a wireless charging feature could indeed be in the works. With Apple having eliminated the headphone jack in the 2016 iPhone 7, leaving the Lightning port to serve multiple functions, wireless charging is a logical next step for the 2017 iPhone. Rumors of a glass body also support wireless charging rumors, as wireless charging functionality works better without an aluminum casing.

CAMERA FEATURES

We all know Apple doesn’t believe in increasing mega pixels. As we have seen iPhone 6 with just 12 MP cameras and is far better in quality as compare to 20 MP cameras of its competitors. This time company is going to take its camera features further to next level. Apple iPhone 8 would have a 16 MP primary camera with upgraded ISOCELL sensors for better images even in low lights. As per the rumours, it will have a 8 MP front facing camera which is specially made for taking selfies. There are also few rumours which are stating an Sony IMXXX sensors to be part of iPhone8.

APPLE A10 or A11 PROCESSOR

As per the latest leaks and rumours Apple iPhone 8 will have TSMC and ARM based 7nm chip. We all know Apple brings a new processor every year with its flagship Smartphone. Apple iPhone 7 will run on A10/A11 which is Quad Core processor. iPhone 8 is going to much advanced processor with 7 nano meter FinFET. It will have 4GB RAM which is far enough to handle high end multitasking with OS X.

WHAT EXPECT FROM NEXT GEN IPHONE 8?

Well, if you still not satisfied with above specifications and feature then you must see below to see why iPhone stands out of the race. Here we have some really innovative features and wishlist that Apple iPhone 8 must have:

  • 5G Technology
  • Fast charging
  • Retina Eye Scanner
  • Fingerprint Scanner
  • Holographic display
  • 64, 128 & 256 GB Storage

These are some expected features that are rumoured for iPhone 8 and we know that Apple is the one who can accomplish these kinds of features.

Some Other Important Features

Biometrics

Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst have strongly predicted Apple’s plans, including an iPhone with biometric features of facial recognition or iris scanning. Kuo has not talked about the scope of these features. But we can assume that these features will help in accessing phone or improving the security! According to Asian supply chain, for iris scanning, we have to wait until 2018. So, we are not sure about experiencing iris scanning in 2017!

Apple has collaborated with Taiwan-based company Xintec for scanning ships. Xintec will start production on this component in 2017 hopefully! As far storage is concerned, we may have an iPhone with NAND flash memory. After having an iPad Pro with 256 GB storage, it is possible to own an iPhone with same capacities!

Haptic Engine

Apple is planning to bring an iPhone with an enhanced haptic engine, as per Japanese site Nikkei. The high-performance motor is needed to produce complex tactile vibrations, as they are essential if Apple wants to eliminate home button. Such vibrations denote key triggers including confirmation of Touch ID payment or unlocking of the phone! Both triggers are tied to a physical home button in latest iPhone!

Camera

Considering Kuo’s predictions, a 4.7-inch iPhone will have a single camera. While premium 5.5-inch model will feature a dual lens camera with unspecified size! In upcoming models, both wide angle and telephoto lenses can have optical image stabilization. We have experienced this technology in iPhone 7 Plus with wide angle lens only!
